With its new concept “loovio by CWS”, CWS is bringing a sense of well-being to public washrooms in train stations, the retail segment and shopping centres. With immediate effect, CWS’s business activities also include the set-up and operation of customer toilets in order to ensure high hygiene standards. Washroom users pay a small charge and receive a voucher in return.
Many retailers are now reconsidering their WC facilities for customers in order to enhance the overall shopping experience. Yet they don’t have sufficient personnel resources to look after the customer toilets. This is where the new business area, CWS by loovio, comes into its own. The hygiene expert is in a position to handle the complete operation and maintenance of the washroom. For companies, this means that major investment costs are avoided. “We either refurnish existing washrooms or build new ones. We then fit these out with high-quality CWS products,” explained Johannes Winterhager, Head of Complete Washroom Concepts at CWS-boco International. In doing so, CWS can draw upon 60 years of expertise in the washroom hygiene sector.
This is how loovio works
The CWS concept takes a flexible approach to the customers’ requirements. Thanks to the use of premium materials and products together with trained cleaning staff, loovio ensures excellent hygiene standards for washroom visitors. The rooms are equipped with CWS products such as the self-cleaning toilet seat Cleanseat and high-quality dispensers for cotton towels, soap, fragrances and toilet paper. The service provider is also responsible for refilling the necessary consumables. As such, companies get a full, care-free solution. Upon entering the washroom, users receive a voucher which they can then redeem on site.
First washrooms already open
CWS boco opened the first washrooms under the loovio by CWS brand in September in the Roma San Pietro train station in Rome.
“Many public washrooms are simply not clean. With our concept, we raise the standards in these facilities considerably, which, in turn, has a positive impact on our client’s image and environment. Digitalisation of the washroom is also to play a role here. Use of the CWS Washroom Information Service (WIS) and an app which manages cleaning staff digitally on the basis of customer feedback are both planned.
CWS-boco is one of the world’s leading providers of rental washroom hygiene solutions, mats and workwear. The introduction of loovio is part of the corporate strategy of not only guaranteeing growth in existing fields, but also developing new, innovative business areas in the future too.
